Description

This is a rose that I took the other afternoon when it was snowing. It had been so warm the last few days ((mid to upper 70's)) so all the flowers were in bloom and then the next day the ground was covered in a layer of snow and ice.

All I did to the back ground was smear it and blur it.

The flower is great. As for the smudge and blur I think it would work better if you were to just gradually blur (not smudge) from the outside of the piece in. since you have the flower as your focal point I think the smudging take a bit away from it cus you know whats behind the flower but you see the flower very clear and vibrant and the backgrounds sort of looks like you are looking at it through glass.

I really think this piece has alot of potential :)
